Number 1 for Girls and Womens Football

What makes Wetherby Athletic Number 1 for girls and women's football?
Wetherby Athletic has invested significantly in girls and women's football over the last two years. Our growth has matched the increasing popularity of the girls’ and women's game nationally and we are rightly proud of our set-up which now has over a hundred players. We welcome players of all abilities and at all age groups whether experienced players looking for the best club in the region or new players taking their first steps on the footballing ladder. The club were awarded the West Riding FA “Community Club of the Year in 2015”.
Wherever you start your footballing journey we have a team to welcome you. We start at age 5 and have teams at all age groups through to our women’s senior teams. Many of our players progress all the way through the age groups developing their skills and abilities as they go.
